5 DAYS!!!

The days in Sweden are soon over!! I don´t know if I can manage to describe the time that I´ve been here or how I feel / think about it now in one word or sentence. But I know that I can recommend it!!:) Team-life, ups and downs - "growing pains", but it´s also very much "growing gains"!!! You gain SO MUCH living on a team! Some might view it as a "waste of time". But living on a team you learn to see things differently, from other peoples perspectives, you learn that you need to learn to respect other people for being different than you. Not "wrong", but different! Your values and your attitudes towards many different stuff and in many different situations, are being tested! But you really grow, and you experience how to love people through the "pain of growing", and you see how incredibly much you actually gain from it as well!!!

Ok, enough! Didn´t mean to have a "lecture" about team-life! I am really not the best example, and I see SO many things I´ve either done wrong, avoided doing or just situations were I´ve had a lousy and bad attitude!! I know I could have grown a lot more, though at that time I "excused" it, I see that now. But still, lingering on past "wrongs" doesn´t make it "right"!! God is a God of today - "I AM!".

For about precisely one and a half week ago I was surfing on the net and somehow "rediscovered" Hanson. Since the time of the single "Mmbop" and even "This time around" (their second studio album, for those who might remember), they have all gotten married (!), and two of them already have kids! But still they make music, and good music too!:) And lyrics that says something, which has always been something I´ve valued in songs!!

As they were making their most recent album "The Walk", they got into a cooperation/ partnership with "TomShoes". And to make a long story, which I don´t know the completely, short and simple - Before every "Hanson-show" they encourage fans and everyone who might be interested, to meet up and walk one English mile barefoot (!!). (1 mile =1.609344, according to my mac-widget;)...) In order to raise awareness about people, and especially kids in Africa and other places around the globe, who doesn´t have a pair of shoes!! They also sell shoes (TomShoes) on their website (hanson.net), and on their concerts. The brilliant thing about that is - for every pair of shoes that is purchused/ bought, one pair of shoes is donated to someone who doesn´t have any!!!

Ok, this really sounds like advertising!! ;p This just got me really excited, and I really hope you would like this as well! They simply seem so down-to-earth, caring about other people more than fame and it really strikes me as admirable! Plus, great songs!! :)

Maria!!

Maria came to visit us for 6 days! It was really good to have her here!!:D Both Kasper and I got to talk with her, and she gave us a lot! THANK YOU!!!:D ... On the Friday we had youth cell-group; Impact. And she took most of the pictures!;)

I've been watching a lot of movies lately, and many of them has been really, really good: "I am David", "Miss Potter", "Reign over me", and the one where this soundtrack is taken from: "Freedom Writers". I liked this one so much that I've now bought one myself! Go, watch!!
